Well in order to add bookmark this button on your website or blog i use AddThis.com
If u want to add similar feauture on your site i suggest following hacks for same use any one alternative
Suppose you want to bookmark varuntaneja.wordpress.com, then simply put a link to
http://www.addthis.com/bookmark.php?url=http://varuntaneja.wordpress.com. This way you require no script just a simple link
In case you want to automate the process simply logon to AddThis.com and get your own button and you also get reports on who all bookmarked your site
