Microsoft released a new minor upgrade of Internet Explorer 7 that installs without requiring you to validate the copy of Windows as Genuine. The new IE7 is available Windows XPSP2, x64 Server and Windows Server 2003.

This step is definately as firefox 2 is getting popular.
