Advanced Audio Distribution Profile popularly known as A2DP is a bluetooth technology that ofcourse enables data transmission wirelessly over a short distance. But the one special aspect of this profile that it enables live data streaming from a bluetooth device usually a Cell phone to any bluetooth speaker or headset, i.e. one actually doesn`t need to download the whole track at the reciever's end before hearing it.
