With lots of new features whether it be special audio enhancement chips in phones by manufactures like Nokia or specialized earphones, or advanced data sharing techniques...And lots of people keep on asking about what is actually A2DP support that the manufacturer's and vendors are promoting?


Advanced Audio Distribution Profile popularly known as A2DP is a bluetooth technology that ofcourse enables data transmission wirelessly over a short distance. But the one special aspect of this profile that it enables live data streaming from a bluetooth device usually a Cell phone to any bluetooth speaker or headset, i.e. one actually doesn`t need to download the whole track at the reciever's end before hearing it. Actually this is not all one can also switch between the tracks from the reciever's end...Remember the Abhi Bachan's cool Moto Rocker commercial...

One common myth between the users is that some manufacturer's are providing Bluetooth version 2.0 in their handsets but they are not having A2DP support because of the fact that A2DP suppport is only available with hansets equipped with Version 2.0 only but not all...
