How to remember birthdays of friends without Facebook

Many of us, wish our friends on their special days only when notified by Facebook. Checking on your friends' special days is only reason many people head back to the website. A neater approach will be to import it into your Google or Apple calendar and let Android or iOS notify you on birthdays.
To export all upcoming events or birthdays of all your Facebook friends into calendar:
- Go to Facebook Events page. This can be accessed on the left side of FB homepage.
- On the bottom right side, below Find Events
- Click Birthdays or Upcoming events to subscribe to all upcoming birthdays or events.
- Copy the birthday calendar URL, which would be of following format "webcal://www.facebook.com/ical/b.php?uid=[xxxx]&key=[xxxx]"
